Applied drama goes beyond teaching knowledge—it nurtures empathy, creativity, and critical thinking. With the rapid advancement of technology and AI, new possibilities are emerging for this art form. To inspire educators to rethink how drama can be used in the digital era to bring more creativity into education, Chung Ying Theatre Company and the School of Education and Languages at Hong Kong Metropolitan University are co-hosting Exploring Applied Drama: Roundtable Dialogues (I), focusing on the future of applied drama in schools.
