Since its inception in 2008, children's drama courses offered by Chung Ying Theatre Company have been well received, where parents providing positive feedback on the significant improvements in their children’s interpersonal skills, self-expression and self-confidence.
Drawing on years of professional experience, Chung Ying has compiled the essence of early childhood education into the concept 'SMILE'. A whole-person development is achieved through drama in 5 major developmental areas including Self-care, Motor skills, Intelligence, as well as Language and Emotion.
Regular programmes of SMILE™️ are arranged for K1 to P3 students, that are divided into 3 modules per school year, with the main locations in Kwai Tsing (“Kwai Tsing Theatre Venue Partnership Scheme”), Yuen Long and Mong Kok.
The last lesson of each module is an open class where parents are invited to witness students’ achievements, together with the distribution of individual learning progress record. Every summer holiday, a year-end performance will be staged in the theatre to showcase their learning outcomes.
SMILE™ also facilitates summer special courses during the months of July to August, strategically positioned just prior to the commencement of the academic year. The course aims to empower children by equipping them in a congenial and earnest learning milieu, effectively preparing them to embrace their forthcoming campus life.
Over the years, SMILE™️ has nurtured more than 3,000 children with holistic development.

Priority registration for current students will be available from October 21 to October 28, until 10:00 AM.
Enrollment for new students will begin on October 28 at 12:00 PM, until 15:00 on November 28.

- If Red/Yellow Rainstorm Warning Signal or a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or below is in force, all classes will proceed as scheduled. Parents may decide whether to allow students to attend classes.

If Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is in force, all classes will be suspended.
If the Warning Signal is cancelled or downgraded* 2 hours or more before the scheduled class, classes will resume as normal. If, due to special circumstances, the student is unable to arrive at the class location within 2 hours, please notify our staff as soon as possible.
