Established in 1979, Chung Ying Theatre Company is a reputed theatre organisation financially supported by the Government of the HKSAR and a Venue Partner of Kwai Tsing Theatre, dedicating to promote dramatic arts and paying special effort on educational and outreach programmes. CYTC is one of the first local theatre companies introducing “Theatre-in-Education” to Hong Kong.  To cope with our expansion, we are URGENTLY looking for high calibre professionals to join our dynamic team.

Wardrobe Supervisor 服裝主任

Duties:
1. To be responsible for overall costume budgeting, making and running for Company's productions.
2. To make costumes and accessories, and to co-ordinate for the making and cleaning of costumes and accessories.
3. To supervise the work of wardrobe assistants, costume makers, dressers and make-up artists etc.
4. To organize and maintain the Company's costumes and accessories stock 
5. To be in charge of costume loan.

Requirements:
1. Degree holder of The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, major in Costume Arts or relevant qualification; 
2. Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English; 
3. Knowledge and deep interest in performing arts;  
4. Related working experience will be an advantage.

Deputy Stage Manager 執行舞台監督

Duties: 
1. To make rehearsal arrangements and assist in running the rehearsal;
2. To assist in liaising with different personnel (e.g. Director, designer, etc.);
3. To take rehearsal notes and relate the director’s requests and comments to different departments and personnel.

Requirement:
1. Degree/Diploma in Theatre and Entertainment Arts or equivalent;
2. At least 2 years of related working experience;
3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Assistant Stage Manager 助理舞台監督

Duties:
1. To assist in propping, making and furnishing of in-house production (including stage and outdoor performances, education and workshop performances and related activities), under the guidance of the Stage Manager and in accordance with the needs of the designer and director;
2. To assist in preparing of stages and the smooth running of all rehearsals and performances.

Requirement:
1. Degree/Diploma in Theatre and Entertainment Arts or equivalent;
2. Related working experience will be an advantage.

Programme Officer 節目主任

Duties:
1. Assist in programme planning, producing and coordination of stage performances, educational and outreach projects, and ad hoc projects as assigned;
2. Collaboratively working with other departments for logistics;
3. Assist in managing and liaising with artists and service providers; 
4. Managing budget and  compiling reports;
5. Provide full spectrum of administration and secretary supports to senior management.

Requirements:
1. Degree holder or above;
2. At least 2 year of solid working experience in theatre production;
3. Strong interest in performing arts;
4. Good understanding of theatre production process as well as local performing arts field;
5. Detail minded and self-motivated;
6. Strong communication and coordination skills;
7. Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English.

Archives Officer 文獻主任 (18 Months Contract 18個月合約)

Duties:
1. Managing the Company archive,
2. Make policies in conducting archival inventory, appraisal and cataloging, 
3. Responsible for selection, transfer and custody of historical records, in different formats and sizes including objects and electronic records.
4. Conduct research of collection for aiding in cataloguing, 
5. Provide assistance and education to stakeholders in records retention.
6. Collaboratively working with other departments for logistics.
7. Provide full spectrum of administration supports to senior management.

Requirements:
1. Degree holder or above in archives and records management or in related field, 
2. Research skills, Knowledge in archives or museum collection cataloging, 
3. Good understanding of theatre production as well as local performing arts field, 
4. Willing to advocate and promote the archives service internally and externally, 
5. Detail minded and self-motivated with strong communication and coordination skills, 
6. Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English.

Marketing & Communications Officer 市場及傳訊主任

Duties:
1. Assist in execution of strategic communication plans to enhance company awareness and manage deliverable timelines. Participate in, and may lead, project production meetings, and following up sponsorship opportunity which led by Marketing Manager;
2. Draft, review, edit, proof-read and handle translation for marketing materials and collateral in line with the corporate communications strategy and support corporate business needs and initiatives;
3. Maintain and provide content management for company social media platforms and website content;
4. Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, corporate newsletter content including press release, media kit, house programme, poster, leaflet, seasonal launch, etc.;
5. Maintain a strong media network, handle media interview, reporting and other related functions;
6. Customer relationship management (handling loyalty programmes, enquiries, retaining activities, etc);
7. Drive and execute effective customer / vendor/ media communications.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business administration, Marketing or related field;
2. Minimum 2 years professional experience in business corporate/ NGO/ marketing/ preferably with PR agency;
3. Good command in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
4. Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint); 
5. Be flexible, creative, good team player, highly initiative, able to work independently and under pressure;
6. Knowledge of graphic design basics and web publishing tools is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Fringe benefits include rest days, public holidays, annual leave, sick leave, maternity leave, medical insurance, employee’s compensation insurance and MPF.
